Pinterest: 2019's most inspiring pins!
Pinterest is the perfect place to start looking if you need inspiration - for anything!
Recipes, interiors, arts & crafts, weddings, fashion…the list goes on. It’s an online, addictive (very addictive) pin-board and we decided to set up our own account this year - yay! Our monthly views have absolutely rocketed since we first began pinning back in March. We now have an average of 30 thousand views each month. Go us!
I’ve really enjoyed watching users re-pin our kitchens and it’s been a fantastic insight into design trends.
Let’s take a look at which pins have been our most popular this year…
The Dalmally Kitchen
This beautiful living-space has been our most popular pin saved from our website and Instagram. Which means lots of you have found it on our website directly, and shared to your inspiration boards. Yippee!
From the moment you step into this striking Shaker-style kitchen - you are greeted by an array of cabinetry craftsmanship highlighted by natural light. Residing in a wonderful Edwardian home, the Dalmally kitchen is not only timeless but it’s a practical, well-used, family-living space. Home to a bespoke larder - featuring our customer’s children’s names - this kitchen was created for happiness, laughter and all that comes with family life, of course!
I absolutely loved visiting this kitchen and I can definitely see why so many of you are sharing this gorgeous, gorgeous space. My favourite feature is the antique glass splashback, it’s just so pretty!
The Turketel Kitchen
Oozing with style, character and artfulness, it’s no wonder our Turketel kitchen is being re-pinned by interior lovers on Pinterest. Taking pride of place within a stunning Victorian Mansion, this quirky living-space is home to statements aplenty.
Our customers opted for a custom-made, thoroughly bespoke, Beaded-Shaker to complement the mansions refined style. I think this kitchen has been so popular on Pinterest because of the injections of personality and contrasting colour combinations, that bring the space to life. Farrow and Ball’s light and pretty Parma Gray is a much softer choice compared to the beautiful boldness of the Stiffkey Blue island - however, each work together brilliantly; adding depth to room and bringing oodles of vibrancy! From the floor, to the lighting, this is a fun living-space with a beautiful balance of tradition, styles and ‘bespokeness!’
The Challock Larder
A family-sized, family-stocked, kitchen larder. This is our most popular pin. Ever.
It’s been pinned SO many times.
With internal oak racking perfect for storing spices and condiments, six deep shelves, lots of drawer storage and a handy hidden breakfast station, it’s no wonder this image has captured the attention of Pinners.
It’s real. It’s not been staged to perfection. It’s a true representation of family-living in a bespoke kitchen, which we love.
Meticulously hand-crafted and designed to suit our customers lifestyle, many of the kitchens we currently design and install are home to a larder. Space is a priority in most kitchens, it needs to accommodate cooking habits and freedom to move around. A kitchen larder enables you to do this. The style, sophistication and practicality of the larder is perfect for avid cooks and busy families alike. We are proud of our larders. We are proud that our customers love our larders.
