And, just like that - it’s June. How did that happen?

We’ve taken a look at kitchen trends of 2019 so far and predict what might be coming next!

Antique Glass & Reflective Surfaces

Antique mirrored glass is a beautiful, super stylish addition to a bespoke kitchen and turns a simple splashback into an elegant, eye-catching feature. With its ability to work well in both traditional and contemporary kitchens, and helping to hide splash-marks , antique mirrored glass is a popular, practical and very pretty choice. Many of our customers think so too!

Larders

Meticulously hand-crafted, thoroughly bespoke and designed to suit the lifestyles of our customers, lots of our kitchens now feature a larder. They offer the perfect storage solution with deep drawers, easily accessible spice racks and tons of shelf space. A larder is a timeless, charming and wonderfully useful addition to a bespoke kitchen and a statement-piece that’s on trend and endlessly swooned over.

The Quooker Tap

Easy to use, practical, stylish in design and energy efficient - it’s no wonder the Quooker tap is a current kitchen must-have. From boiling eggs and blanching veg, to filling up hot water bottles and making a refreshing glass of filtered water - the Quooker tap is super quick and an amazingly economical way to produce both hot and boiling water. It really is the tap that does it all. And, we are proud suppliers!

Island Lighting

For kitchens that have the accommodating space, central islands continue to grow increasingly popular and are normally at the top of the list when it comes to our bespoke kitchen design process. When re-visiting many of our customers, we’ve noticed that large and beautiful pendants have been positioned above the island, complimenting the traditional kitchen spotlights. Adding a balanced and symmetrical look, pendants also bring an extra splash of personality and style to our bespoke kitchens.

So what’s next?

We predict a change in colour combinations may be on its way.

2018/19 has seen fabulous shades of greys and dark blues, which are - of course - timeless and classically pretty. However, we believe bolder trends are on their way in - with green and earthier shades becoming more and more popular. We love the Farrow and Ball colours and are able to colour match your favourite!

Whilst copper and chrome finishes have been top hardware choices over the past few years, we predict a rise in darker and more antique tones to come soon - complimenting the cabinetry colour change!
