Our Norton House kitchen has all the key ingredients required to create the perfect family-functionable living-space. With that in mind, it’s no wonder we’ve seen its popularity grow on Pinterest recently. This beautiful contrasting colour scheme has absolutely stormed social media the past year - and, we can definitely see why - it’s sleek, charming and subtly sophisticated.
The dark painted cabinetry makes a really stylish feature of the island too; and, along with the bright quirky wall prints, it brings colour and boldness to the light and elegant space.
A personal favourite of mine is the contrast between the traditional black range cooker and the lighter shades - a fabulous statement! Don’t you think?
Proportions and positioning have been carefully considered, and the integrated wine cooler and microwave create efficient space whilst contributing to the stylish, balanced and overall clutter-free aesthetics. The Fisher & Paykel fridge-freezer has been cleverly housed within the handcrafted cabinetry, also adding to the sleek feel.
Armac Martin’s Cotswold handles really suit the space and bring this timeless kitchen together, perfectly.
I love the mantle-pockets. I just think they are such a brilliant and practical idea - our designers really do get it right every time! This is definitely something on my ‘kitchen goals’ list - I’m forever running out of space for my ever-growing collection of spices and seasonings.
The island seating is ideal for quick busy breakfasts and catch-up coffee mornings - a great alternative to sitting at the dining room table. Speaking of which…
Beautiful, isn’t it?
A ‘door-less’ walk way joins the kitchen and dining room together, and the contrasting colour scheme is continued, creating an effortless and seamless flow. This spacious space is flooded by natural light and opens up to the luscious gardens - perfect for summer entertaining. Of course, it goes without saying that our favourite feature of the room is our handmade dresser. With oak internals to match the table top, shelves to display pretty accessories and glasses, and cupboards to hide all things children-related, this Collins Bespoke dresser is a wonderful example of the bespoke freestanding furniture we create in our workshop!
