An Organised Living-Space

Your kitchen is a safe-space to come home to after long day; a place for unwinding and catching up with loved ones. But, in order for it to feel like the perfect spot to kick-start your day and ensure a warm welcome home, it needs to be an organised and well-designed space. An organised bespoke kitchen makes the whole process of cooking and entertaining, that much easier and enjoyable. It’s always a top priority for our customers!

So, because January is the time for de-cluttering and fresh starts, we’ve put together some ideas and tips to ensure your new bespoke kitchen is a beautiful well-organised living-space.

First off, have a good clear out. I’m so guilty of having well out-of-date ‘essentials’ in my cupboards, and definitely own some pans that have seen better days. I very much doubt I’m alone in this, am I? If you’re new kitchen is part of a larger renovation project then you’ve probably already got this covered. But, if your focus for 2020 is purely kitchen based, then spend a day or two going through your cupboards before your design process begins. That way, you’ll know exactly what your working with, and if you’d want to include the following within your new bespoke kitchen design…

  • Magic Corner

    If you’re on a real kitchen organisation mission, then a magic corner is essential. They make access to a corner unit simple, whilst maximising the space. They have the ability to bring the contents of the cupboard to you, without having to stretch or go in blind. Ideal for storing larger kitchen items – a magic corner is simply – brilliant. And, it will help leave your worktops clutter -free. Just imagine organising all that Tupperware - bliss!

    Top Tip

    Whilst tempting - try to not overfill your magic corner – keep it neat & practical.

  • Bespoke Cutlery Divider

    Oh, the epitome of organised. Hands up if you’re cutlery drawer just HAS to be neat. Hands up if you have all the best intentions, but it ends up becoming more of a social gathering for random objects…

    Our bespoke cutlery dividers are created with you in mind and designed to ensure there’s room for everything. They really are the ultimate way to organise your drawers. And, some of our customers decide to have two or three, because sometimes one just isn’t enough!

    Top Tip

    Keep your cooking utensils near your hob. Our designers know where’s best to place your dividers! Plus, placing your most frequently used items at the top is going to reduce any frantic cooking spillages, whilst searching for what you need.

  • Deep Drawer Storage

    A real must-have for those of us who prefer to hide things away. Out of sight – out of mind. Sound familiar? However, effortlessly concealed, deep drawer storage, is definitely the right way to do it. It’s that super easy kind of organisation, that is totally satisfying, but with minimum effort. And, because they are easily accessible, many of our customers choose deep drawer storage to hide away pots, pans, baking trays and dishes.

  • Pull-Out Recycling System

    There’s something about recycling that’s good for the soul. And, it’s important - we all know that! So, imagine having all your bins in one place and integrated perfectly within your cabinetry. It really is an easy & effortless way to hide your rubbish - plus, its a daily reminder to actually break down those cereal boxes and do your bit for the planet!

  • Mantle Pockets

    Mantle pockets are an ideal spot for storing salt, pepper, spices and every day cooking essentials. They offer a more organised alternative to using up precious shelf-space within cupboards, and reduce the chance of things being knocked over when rummaging for the Paprika!

    And, because we’re bespoke, we can design these specifically to suit your needs. Our mantle pockets can include adjustable shelving and racks, and - can be left open or closed with a door.

  • Larder

    What’s great about larders, is that they can be designed exactly to your requirements! They can be used to hide away a microwave or coffee machine, and opened up to reveal the perfect breakfast station! With shelves and drawers aplenty – larders are the ideal way to organise your kitchen. You can even maximise space by having bespoke door racks and stocking them with yummy treats!

    Top Tip

    Store dried foods in clear containers/jars  - it’s simple, cost-effective and really rather stylish! For maximum organisation – get creative by labeling them with fancy writing!
