Check out The Cake Place at Mersham-le-Hatch Business Village. The Cake Place is a venue designed to help and inspire you to create - whatever your ability.

Let’s introduce the lovely Yvonne, who has been baking and decorating cakes for years. Yvonne opened The Cake Place in 2018 with the aim of helping people create cakes based on their own dreams and ideas. With tons of experience and passion, Yvonne and her team are able to offer helpful advice and develop their customers cake making & decorating skills.

I’m lucky enough to know Yvonne, which means I have sampled A LOT of her delicious cakes over the years. From a ‘messy bedroom’ themed cake for my 13th birthday, to an incredible 2-tiered showstopper for my 30th - I’ve always been impressed.

We are really looking forward to inviting Yvonne and her team at The Cake Place to our new Surrenden Manor Showroom soon. Leave your soggy bottoms at home and let’s get decorating!

Workshops

What’s really great about The Cake Place, are the workshops Yvonne and her team run. Recent classes include: cupcake and cookie decorating, piping skills, flower making, cake covering and airbrushing. Amazing, right? The workshops are perfect for gifts, special days out, hen parties or even a special treat from yourself, to yourself.
